Do want to find some tips about washing bathroom shower curtain sets? Then continue reading this post. I will simply discuss some few methods that you can adopt and use at your own peril. Take some time to read the article right to the end and you will glad you did.

Firstly, I am aware that changing curtains can be a rather daunting task and highly expensive at that. What do you do if the curtain has some mildew and soap scum all over it?

One options is to soak it in the bath with bleach and some water. Using this method can be quite tricky especially if you are particular about color preservation. I know I used to be with my purple shower curtain.

One of the easier ways to clean it is to put it in a washing machine. Plastic or fabric a washing machine can do a really good job when it comes to cleaning the curtains. Just make sure that it is set at non-rinse cycle and use normal detergent. You should also consider putting a towel in the wash so the towel abrasiveness can help clean it up.

Other than that you can soak it in soda crystals. You can go for this option if you are looking for something that is eco-friendly. In addition it is superior than bleaching because it does not emit ant nasty smell. Just add the soda crystals in a water bath and leave it overnight.

I know some people who put their brown shower curtains in the wash with the soda crystals instead of a normal washing detergent. You can even use some vinegar instead of a condistioner. Note that I haven’t tried the vinegar myself but with so many testimonials I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for you – except for the smell.
